September 8, 6:30pm Social Time and 7:00 pm Meeting

The Elk Grove Peace & Justice Forum for the September 8 meeting will feature the candidates running in the November 4, 2008 election for Districts 1, 3, and 5. Each of them will give a short presentation of their background and will then describe the major issues they feel should come before the City Council during this term. After their presentations, there will be a time for members of the audience to go to designated areas and ask specific questions about issues.
Prior to the formal meeting starting at 7:00 pm, there will be a social time where sandwiches, chips, drinks will be available at 6:30 pm.

COSUMNES COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT CANDIDATES
September 22, 2008, 6:30 pm Social Time and 7:00pm the Meeting

The September 22, 2008, meeting of the Elk Grove Peace & Justice Forum will be a candidate’s night for those running for the three seats up for election on the Cosumnes Community Services District Board in the November 4 election. The formal meeting will start at 7:00 pm with each candidate giving a short presentation describing their background and then will tell about issues they feel should come before the Board during this term of office. Following these presentations, there will be a time for members of the audience to go to designated areas and ask specific questions of the candidates.
Starting at 6:30 pm there will be social time where sandwiches, chips, and drinks will be available.
