From Highway 99 - Southbound

• Take the Elk Grove Boulevard exit.
• Turn left (east) onto Elk Grove Boulevard.
• Elk Grove UMC is approximately 2 miles east on the right side of the street.

• For the physically challenged, please park on Elk Grove Boulevard (in front of the church) and ask an usher for assistance with the lift.

From Highway 99 - Northbound

• Take the Elk Grove Boulevard exit.
• Turn left at end of freeway off ramp onto Stockton Boulevard.
• Turn right (east) at first stoplight onto Elk Grove Boulevard.
• Elk Grove UMC is approximately 2 miles east on the right side of the street.

Worship service information

Acolytes
Acolytes (grades 2 - 6) light altar candles, present offering plates during worship services, and assist minister as needed.  Acolytes are also responsible for a service project each year.  The children plan their meetings which include: lunch, fun activities, service, and helping with a variety of church activities throughout the year.

Adult Chancel Choir
Adult Chancel Choir (junior high youth through adults) provides choral music for 8:30 a.m. Sunday service and services during Advent and Easter.  The ability to read music is not required.

Advent Services
A quiet evening of worship and music, held during the three weeks before Christmas.

All Saint's Day
During church services on the first Sunday of November (or the last Sunday of October), we celebrate, thank, and give praise to all those "saints" that have been in our lives.  There will be an opportunity to add the names of departed "saints" to our memorial bell banner prior to All Saint's Sunday.

Children's Choir
The Children's Choir (ages 3 - 8) sing or play an instrument on special occasions as part of Sunday service.

Children’s Musical Workshop
Summer workshop for children (grades 2 - 6).  Children learn the elements of producing a musical including: singing, staging, dancing, lighting, and sets.  Musical presented during Sunday service.

Children's Story Time
Children’s Story Time is for children (ages 3 - 12).  Children’s Story Time is held during Sunday service sermon time.  Lessons and stories are shared to help the children understand the Bible.

Chime Choir
Chime Choir consists of various age groups that play on special occasions as part of the Sunday service.  This is a wonderful opportunity to be involved in a musical group.

Coffee Fellowship Time
Coffee, beverages, and light refreshments are provided during the time between our two Sunday services.  This is a great time to stop and enjoy fellowship with others.

Communion
Communion is provided the first Sunday of every month at both services.  Fruit juice is served in place of wine and all are welcome partake in Communion.

Drama Ministry
Participate (junior high youth through adults) in Drama Ministry, rehearsals, and Sunday performances.

Elk Grove Players
Elk Grove Players provide music for the 11:00 a.m. Sunday service.  Instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome.

Lenten Services
A quiet evening of worship and music, held during the Lenten season.  Services are intended to enrich our life together and to feel our spirit during the Lenten journey toward the Cross.

Nursery Care
Safe nursery care is provided for babies and toddlers by our caring staff.  The Nursery is open Sundays during and between both services.

Recorder Group
Recorder Group consists of various age groups that play on special occasions as part of the Sunday service.  Persons interested in learning to play the recorder, as well as, experienced recorder players are welcome.
