Thursday Evening Advent Worship

Our church will offer 3 special Thursday evening worship services during Advent December 7, 14 and 21 from 7-7:30 p.m.. Persons of all ages are invited to attend. This is a time to center and prepare for Christmas. Take a few moments out of the busyness of the season! Each of the services will include singing, scripture, prayers, special music and Christmas stories. December 21 will be our “Blue” or “Longest Night” worship designed to especially addresses the sorrows and grief we carry with us. Childcare will be offered in the nursery. All are welcome

Sunday, December 10: An Evening of Lessons and Carols

6:00 p.m. The story of Christmas through readings, and music and congregational carols. Dessert to follow. An offering which supports our music program will be taken. Child care is available in the nursery. All are welcome


Sunday, December 17: All Church Caroling Party

5:00 p.m. We will meet at the church to warm up our singing voices and then break into smaller groups to drive to the homes of our seniors to carol. Dress warmly, bring a flashlight, and bring a plate of goodies to share. All are welcome


December 24, Christmas Eve and  Christmas Eve Supper—All are welcome!

The fourth Sunday of Advent and Christmas Eve are the same day! So plan ahead. We hope you will join us in the morning and in the evening. Here is our schedule for the day:


8:30 a.m. worship, fellowship time and Sunday school are canceled.

10:30 a.m.    Childcare through the end of the 11:00 a.m. worship service.

11:00 a.m.  Worship for the fourth Sunday of Advent

11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Community Christmas Lunch

12-2 NO Jr. & Sr. High youth


Our Christmas Eve Celebrations begin:


5:30 p.m.    Family candlelight service with an interactive

Telling of the Christmas story (no practice required), singing

of favorite Christmas carols. Child Care provided.


Christmas Eve Supper   A simple Christmas Eve Supper will be

offered for all who would like to join us immediately following

the Family Candlelight service (about 6:15 PM). A great way to

celebrate Christmas with your church family and worship before

or after the supper!


9:00 p.m.   Traditional candlelight service featuring our Chancel

Choir, Recorder Ensemble, singing of favorite Christmas carols,

reading of Christmas scripture and a Christmas homily. Child

Care provided.
